The Hoover Dam is located (originally known as Boulder
Dam), which holds the restructuring of the mighty Colorado River Lake Mead, on
the Arizona - Nevada border on Interstate 93.
They went through Arizona and across the dam in the state
of Nevada. As I approached I read the warning signs. And allows not all types
of vehicles to cross the dam. Here is the latest information so you can plan
for the future. You will be surprised to know that the RV rental trucks can
cross the dam (may be inspected). It is better to be prepared to read this
guide.
I drove from the Arizona side and noted that there are
many pull outs and quite a few of the empty spaces. Visitors Center on the
Nevada side and it's a bit more crowded there. If you want covered parking or
parking spots Primo, be willing to pay. It's cash only ($ 7.00) for parking in
the garage closest to the visitor center. I saw quite a few people and free
parking Hardy on the Arizona side and walk down the hill and across the dam to
the visitor center.
